Oh yeah... and I totally brought the girls to my "Turkey, Avocado (sprinkled w/garlic salt and pepper), Cheddar on a Bagel" cult (Except Jessi and Caroline replaced the turkey with ham)!!

I can NOT get enough of that sammich!!

We got it done!! (OK... mostly... I still have to paint the baseboard and put it back... it's way grimey! But... that's a project for another day!!)!! And of COURSE I couldn't leave it at just tile and decided to paint too. Rick loves it when I do stuff like that. Especially when he is having to try an avoid wet paint while trying to re-install a toilet ;) ;)

I also ordered a print for the wall.

It's from my 2009 calendar and I LOVE this artist's stuff (T.E. Breitenbach)... plus... it's very interesting to look while while just sitting around ;)

Wish Rick luck... if you want a pot to piss in on Saturday ;-)

 

Rick decided to tile the downstairs bathroom floor before the party. I applaud the effort... but fear there will be a lot of peeing off the porch on Saturday!! LOL

For guilting me into cleaning my fishtank. I cursed you the entire 18 hours it took to clean it, but now that it looks so nice... thanks!!

Those first few "warm" days do crazy things to Maine people.

They made me buy a broom and clean our porch.


They made Jessi think it would be a good idea to walk to the woods in 3-4 ft deep snow.

They made ME think it would be fun to go along and take photos. An idea I very much regretted halfway there and up to my crotch in snow. The heavy, crusty kind of snow that makes you think that you are going to balance on top for a second............. and then your foot goes crashing down to the ground and you fall over adn your legs get all scraped up and sting for a week. It too me about 10 minutes to get to the woods...lol!

At least on the way back _I_ was smart enough to walk in my own tracks... unlike Cooper... who got stuck and was too worn out to keep going. He's still out there now an hour later. Just kidding...lol!

Good luck to those idiots who are thinking that my b'day party this weekend should be the first night of breakin' the game camera into 2009.

I must say I am PRETTY impressed with the slickness in which we arranged a trip for 8 people to Manchester, NH in just a couple hours. Those cell phones and text messages were just a'blazin'!!! We freakin' rock!!! :-D

It should be QUITE an EXPERIENCE!

Now the real planning begins!! Hotel?? Which one? Who's driving? The tickets sold out FAST... so the hotels will book up quickly too I would imagine!

Bitchin, Moaning, and Yumminess

So I've been a little pouty the past few days about my weight loss journey. The weight is coming off nicely since the switch to Weight Watchers (of course it's most noticeable to me in my fingers and wrists because THAT of COURSE is were I really want to see results!!! <---hope you got the sarcasm there), and I have no intention of quitting, but I am soooooooo sick of it all!! I FEEL like I am so limited and regimented, which is SO BEYOND retarded because I am not at all and any treats that I have wanted to have, I have just worked into my points and been fine, so it's ALL comletely in my head.... or maybe my hormones ;) Anyhoo... Pioneer Woman posted a link to this blog and it did NOT help my current state, so of course I must share :-D

P.S. Let's pretend I made this cake for my mom today cuz it's her birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keepin' it real on a Sunday morning

You will note that part of the 'real' is the absence of Jessi, who I haven't seen since Friday except to drop clothes off to her at a friend's house.
